The project
ReForest works to overcome the barriers to wider agroforestry adoption in Europe. It encourages knowledge exchange between stakeholders, offers practical solutions to farmers and proposes policy interventions, so that agroforestry can become a key driver of farm productivity, economic viability and sustainability. Its approach is built on co-creation, agroforestry living labs and an engagement platform for knowledge transfer, training and innovation.
The platform
The ReForest engagement platform is a virtual hub where farmers, researchers, policymakers and advisors collaborate, share solutions and needs, and access knowledge, decision-support tools and networking opportunities. This is the community we managed.
Who we worked with
We worked with the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association (EMEA), a consortium member of the ReForest project. EMEA is an independent, non-profit research institution and forum for debate based in Barcelona, working on Europe, the Mediterranean and Africa.

The story in short
What ReForest needed, what we did, and what changed.
The project
ReForest is a European agroforestry platform. A digital platform does not grow on its own: every member, event and interaction is the result of active management.
What we did
Working with EMEA, a ReForest consortium member, we acted as Community Manager: growing the community, mobilising stakeholders, creating content and improving the platform.
The result
In nine months, the community grew by 114%, with increased engagement and use of resources such as the Knowledge Hub.
